Dino Wurtinger
Dino Wurtinger studied jazz guitar at the Institute of Music at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and worked as a lecturer for guitar at the University of Eichstätt. He is also the author of the instructional book “The Path to Jazz Guitar”. At the Institute of Music in Osnabrück, he studied under mentors such as Prof. Frank Wingold, Joachim Schönecker, Andreas Wahl, and Philipp van Endert. He also attended workshops, lessons, and seminars with Philipp Catherine, Lionel Loueke, Christian McBride, Yotam Silberstein, Paulo Morello, Bret Wilmot, Roger Cicero,
Dean Brown and other stars of the jazz scene. He studied classical guitar with Benedikt Zöller. In addition to his own jazz projects and three CD releases, Dino is active and deeply rooted in pop and rock guitar, mastering a wide variety of styles including pop, rock, blues, country, and bluegrass.
Currently, Dino Wurtinger works as head of department for Pop/Rock/Jazz at Lauterbacher Musikschule e.V.
