Using the website of Gitarrenschule Wurtinger is generally possible without providing any personal data. Nevertheless, internet-based data transmissions may have security gaps, so absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, it is up to the data subject to transmit personal data to us via alternative means, e.g., by phone.

Each visit to the website by a data subject or automated system is logged. Data includes browser type, operating system, referring site, accessed subpages, date and time of access, IP address, Internet service provider, and other similar information. This data is used to deliver website content correctly, optimize content and advertising, ensure functionality, and provide authorities with information in case of cyberattacks.
5. Routine Deletion and Blocking of Personal Data
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for processing purposes or required by law. Once storage is no longer necessary, the data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with legal requirements.
6. Rights of the Data Subject

F) Right to Data Portability
Every individual whose personal data is being processed has the right, granted by the European legislator, to receive the personal data concerning them that they have provided to a controller, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. They also have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided, provided that the processing is based on consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) or Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and the processing is carried out by automated means, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
Furthermore, in exercising their right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20(1) GDPR, the data subject has the right to request that the personal data be transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible, provided that this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
To exercise the right to data portability, the data subject may at any time contact an employee of Gitarrenschule Wurtinger.
G) Right to Object
Every individual whose personal data is being processed has the right, granted by the European legislator, to object at any time, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning them which is based on Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
Gitarrenschule Wurtinger will no longer process the personal data in the event of an objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override the interests, rights, and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Where Gitarrenschule Wurtinger processes personal data for direct marketing purposes, the data subject has the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data for such marketing. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If the data subject objects to the processing for direct marketing purposes, Gitarrenschule Wurtinger will no longer process the personal data for these purposes.
The data subject also has the right, on grounds relating to their particular situation, to object to processing of personal data for scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes according to Art. 89(1) GDPR, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest.
To exercise the right to object, the data subject may directly contact any employee of Gitarrenschule Wurtinger. The data subject is also free, in connection with the use of information society services and regardless of Directive 2002/58/EC, to exercise their objection right by automated means using technical specifications.
H) Automated Individual Decision-Making, Including Profiling
Every individual whose personal data is being processed has the right, granted by the European legislator, not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing—including profiling—that produces legal effects concerning them or similarly significantly affects them, unless the decision:
- is necessary for entering into or performing a contract between the data subject and the controller, or
- is authorized by Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject and which also lays down suitable measures to safeguard the data subject’s rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, or
- is based on the data subject’s explicit consent.
If the decision is necessary for a contract or is based on explicit consent, Gitarrenschule Wurtinger implements appropriate measures to safeguard the data subject’s rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests, including at least the right to obtain human intervention, to express their point of view, and to contest the decision.
To exercise rights related to automated decisions, the data subject may contact any employee of the controller responsible for processing at any time.
I) Right to Withdraw Consent
Every individual whose personal data is being processed has the right, granted by the European legislator, to withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data at any time.
To exercise this right, the data subject may contact any employee of the controller responsible for processing at any time.
7. Data Protection for Applications and the Application Process
The controller collects and processes the personal data of applicants for the purpose of handling the application process. Processing may also take place electronically, for example if an applicant submits application documents electronically via email or a web form. If the controller enters into an employment contract with the applicant, the submitted data will be stored for the purpose of managing the employment relationship in compliance with legal requirements.
If no employment contract is concluded, the application documents will be automatically deleted two months after notification of rejection, unless deletion conflicts with other legitimate interests of the controller. Legitimate interests may include, for example, evidentiary obligations under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).
8. Data Protection Provisions Regarding Facebook
The controller has integrated Facebook components on this website. Facebook is a social network.
A social network is an online community that generally allows users to communicate and interact in virtual space. Facebook allows users to create profiles, upload photos, and connect with others via friend requests.
The operator of Facebook is Facebook, Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. For users outside the US or Canada, the responsible entity is Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook collects information about which pages of our site the user visits, and any interaction with integrated buttons (like “Like”) is associated with the user’s Facebook account. Users can prevent data transmission by logging out of Facebook before visiting our site.
